My client purchased 50 of these lovely ouches (the Tudor period term for a sewn on jewel) to attach to his garments. He purchased them from England's Steve Millingham Pewter Replicas (http://www.pewterreplicas.com). They are heavy gold-plated pewter, and were sewn on with heavy nylon thread.
