The slashed designs in the wool match the original design image. There is blue fabric underneath the slashes to provide a color contrast. The hand sewn piping along the neck gives a finished appearance to the garment. The garment closes with hand sewn eyelets, with the gold balls simply being ornamental. Sleeves were added after the photos were taken.
