Woodcut of a Workman
Men's Garment Myths
Myth: Men's' clothing should fit like today's garments, loose, baggy
and hang off the hips.
Lower classes may be at waist like the nobility, or lower classes may
have lower line of waist, but it is still fitted to the body.
Woodcut of the Keeper of the Hounds, by G. Tuberville,
1575.
